I am a visual artist! From a young age, looking up to my grandfather who never put his video camera down filming home videos, I found my love for filmmaking and have been doing it ever since my hero handed down his old video camera to me.
Over the past 8 years I have been developing my cinematography and editing skills. A product of, and simultaneously to, studying Multimedia - moving image at Nottingham Trent University, my creations are conceived in the womb of a unique style and process. I take a lot of pride in being a perfectionist when I carry out my work which speaks for itself.
Having in depth experience in live events such as festivals, gigs and club nights it has played a big part on me developing my skills over the years. From the fast paced motion and subjects within the atmosphere of a live event I can confidentially say I have developed a strong eye for detail, framing and lighting under large amounts of pressure to get that perfect shot. My personal goal as a visual artist is to capture those breathtaking moments and memories that raise the hairs on your skin, sends shivers down your spine and gives you that buzz causing you to need to be apart of what you are watching in one of my videos.
In any situation, whether it’s a personal project with unlimited time to shoot or a client project with a tight turn around - I am always looking to articulate something cinematic, emotionally moving and unique with my camera work and editing.
I am extremely grateful to be pursuing my dream and doing something I truly love. I have many other interests such as music, photography and skateboarding. It’s a bonus having many other interest as I have the freedom to film the things I am passionate about.
I hope you enjoy my work and please feel free to drop me an email if you have any questions, want to collaborate or hire me for a project.
